Anamaria Marinca is Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut movie The actress will remember her performance in her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks and 2 days" which earned her many awards including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. In 2007, she starred as a character in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 zile (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 4 Months 3 Weeks and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film was awarded two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she played the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury that was released in the year 2014.
