Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13, 1986 in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the firstborn child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen was her mother. She was both poet and speech therapist. Gerald, her father was a professor as well as a molecular pharmacist. Dennings was born into a Jewish family as the youngest of children. Dennings didn't attend a conventional school for long but was instead homeschooled.
