Aura Garrido is a Spanish actor who is active on TV and film. She has appeared on television as well as in films such Stockholm. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. The father of her Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sanchez, is a painter. She took her first piano lessons when she was just four years old. She shortly after that, she began to study ballet. It was her closest friend, who was fluent in English who taught her the English language. Following the completion of her studies in high school, she enrolled herself in the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico which is located in Madrid and studied interpretation until her third year specializing in interpretation of text, however she pulled out of the program in the year 2010 due to being selected for the role in Planes para manana. In this film, her performance earned her a Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the most promising new actress.
